Welcome to the home of the Wakehurst Redbacks Cricket Club.
We are a local Cricket Club based on Sydney’s Northern Beaches playing in the Manly-Warringah Cricket Association (Seniors), the Manly-Warringah Junior Cricket Association (Juniors) and the Sydney Sixers Girls Cricket League, as well as hosting Cricket NSW’s Cricket Blast program. We have a proud history and around 500 players across all age groups and skill levels. Our players come from many suburbs, including: Frenchs Forest, Davidson, Belrose, Terry Hills, Forestville, Oxford Falls and Allambie Heights.
Go to the Cricket Blast for information on this new and exciting program for under 8 year old boys on Saturday mornings and under 10 year old girls and boys on Friday evenings.
Dear Mighty Redbacks Seniors, Committee, Life Members & Special Guests
We will be holding the WRCC Seniors Presentation Night on Saturday 25th May @ Belrose Hotel from 6:30pm. This will give you time to sort dinner if you want to have it. We will be officially kicking off festivities at 7pm.
Please save the date and we would love to see you all there.
The Presentation night is an important evening for us and I expect all players to be there. We will be giving out individual and perpetual trophies, naming our Senior’s Club Champion and presenting the Baggy Reds to the Grand Final winning team.
Another fun part of the night is when we read out the ‘joke’ awards – so please if anyone knows of any deserving players – please email me through the player name and the little story that goes with it. Captains will read them out on the night.
Hope to see you all there.
For a number of years we have had multiple requests for bucket hats. These have now arrived and will be available from the Clubhouse Open Nights. If you’re interested, get down and grab one for $20.
We also have some new red & black Redbacks’ polos available $30. Limited number.

We would like to invite all to the Wakehurst Redbacks Cricket Club A.G.M. on Tuesday evening @ Belrose Hotel starting at 7:30pm.
** There will be a number of positions becoming vacant and we would love some new people to take on the very rewarding roles as part of the club leading up to next season.
We welcome anyone new or existing who would be interested in taking a defined role in either Juniors or Seniors as well as general committee members. Please come down and see what roles will be available.
This is a fabulous club and great to be a part of and it can only function with fabulous volunteers.
Most notable role will be Club President. David Nimmo will be standing down after a long and wonderful term. Thank you very much for your contribution David.
